Finally, all the official representatives of the members of our group have signed the Memorandum of Understanding by which is established community of practice on Alternative Infrastructure for Gender Equality in Academic Institutions (Alt+G). While we are thrilled that bureaucratic formalities are over and we can jump on doing the "real work", a look on this document gave us a pause to think: while all members of our group are female, all but 2 heads of their institutions (and therefore signatories of the Memorandum) are male!
This is illustrative of the gender gaps we are dealing with and are committed to change. Our group is comprised of 29 individuals from 16 institutions in Slovenia, check them out on the subpage Members.
