One of the long term goals of the Alt+G group is to develop collaboration with the institutions and individuals from other countries in the region of former Yugoslavia. This is why we started cooperating with the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory in Belgrade. In partnership with SeConS Group for Development Initiative and the project “A key step towards gender equality” carried out by the Coordinating Office for Gender Equality of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the organization UN Women, the Institute plans to establish the Female Academic Network in Serbia. The aim is to develop a platform for gender equality advocacy and knowledge sharing in order to improve the position of women in academia and society at large. Best practices from Slovenia and Alg+G group will be used in this process, which is why the representatives from the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory plan further cooperation with Alt+G group.
