The annual event organised by the Commission on Equal Opportunities in Science upon the International Women’s Day was this year themed “The Overlooked Dimensions of Gender in Scientific Research”. The Commission as a consultative body of the Slovenian Ministry of Education is supporting gender equality in academia and research, as well as gender mainstreaming. Therefore the scholars from various disciplines presented how is gender relevant in their particular research field such as biomedical one, historiography, big data analysis and telecommunication. As sharing knowledge on integrating gender dimension into research is one of the activities of the Alt+G, some members of our group participated in the event that was co-organised and hosted by the ZRC SAZU. While the seminar, which took place on 9 March 2020, was one of the last public events before the general lock-down due to pandemic of covid-19, the video of presentations are available online (in Slovenian), as well as the programme and abstract.
